The Carnevali winery was founded in the late 1940s. Grandfather Bruno, together with his brothers Italo and Giuseppe, built the first winery, where wines were obtained through natural fermentation in the bottle. The grapes used are those of the Lambrusco Salamino, Sgavetta and Oliva and of course Ancellotta grapes, which give that intense red color typical of the Lambrusco Reggiano.
The beginning…
The Tradition
Family commitment and passion have always distinguished the Carnevali winery. Father Ciro passed on to his children Bruno and Chiara his love for the land and its fruits. Today, they are the ones who run the company, with the same dedication as their father and grandfather. The Carnevali winery combines the qualities of the two young brothers: freshness, confidence in the future and the need to innovate, with the experience and tradition of past generations.
…Today
Thanks to the deep bond that unites the new generations with the past ones, to the careful listening to the advice of those who have always worked the land and made wine, the desire to do things well is born, adding that trepidation, that daring and that preparation that unite the two Carnevali brothers. Each of them contributes to improving the company by developing those qualities that distinguish them: studying new technologies for the cultivation of vineyards, dedicating themselves with care and dedication to their growth, being passionate about the techniques related to winemaking and studying the sciences related to viticulture.
Continuous research
This is the heart of the Carnevali company today. A reality in turmoil, aware and proud of its history, attentive to the evolution of knowledge in the wine sector and driven by love and passion to deliver the essence of our land.
